Sterling RIT eye to eye prusiks are a popular friction hitch for professional arborists. This prusik has two sewn spliced eyes, which fit snugly over many carabiners, keeping everything nice and tidy. RIT (Right in Trees) is constructed of a polyester/Aramid cover, with a polyster core. The polyester/Aramid cover give it great heat tolerance, high abrasion resistance, and nice gripping features. 8mm RIT works best with 7/16" (11mm - 11.7mm) climbing rope.
