Teufelberger Ocean Polyester is a popular friction hitch cord for professional arborists. Ocean Polyester is constructed of a polyester/Aramid cover, with a polyster core. The polyester/Aramid cover is highly abrasive and heat resistant, while the polyester core gives it good strength characteristics. 8mm Ocean Polyester works best with 7/16" (11mm - 11.7mm) climbing rope.
