Teufelberger EpiCord is a popular friction hitch cord for professional arborists. EpiCord is constructed of a polyester/Technora mix cover, with a Technora/Dyneema blend core. The polyester/Technora cover is very flexible to ensure good knotability. Combined with the high strength of the Technora/Dyneema core, the cord allows your hitch to release when you need it to. 8mm EpiCord works best with 7/16" (11mm - 11.7mm) climbing rope. 9.3mm EpiCord works with most climbing lines, from 7/16" to 1/2" (11mm - 13mm) climbing rope. 10mm EpiCord works best with 1/2" (12.7-14mm) climbing rope. Made in the USA.
