Sterling RIT (8mm) Thimble Prusik

Sterling RIT thimble prusiks are a popular friction hitch for lanyards, friction savers and anchors. This prusik has a steel thimble sewn in place, which offers a clean connection point. RIT (Right in Trees) is constructed of a polyester/Aramid cover, with a polyster core. The polyester/Aramid cover give it great heat tolerance, high abrasion resistance, and nice gripping features. 8mm RIT works best with 7/16" (11mm - 11.7mm) climbing rope.
