Want to get up a tree using the single rope technique (SRT)? Then this is your kit. It starts with a Weaver Double Dee saddle, 120' hank of Samson 1/2" ArborFreak Danube 16 Strand rope and throw line with weight. We include a Bee Line prusik and a carabiner, along with a rescue 8 descender to get you down. We also throw in a copy of Jeff Jepson’s book to help you with the basics. All for one low price.
- Drop down approximately 4" from the top of each hipbone and measure the distance around the back of the hipbone to hipbone using a tape measure. (See "Images" tab for illustration) Add 2" to this measurement. This is the Dee to Dee measurement. Please note: the added 2" will bring the dees in front of the hipbones for better positioning.
- Remember to allow some room for adjustment for use with summer or winter clothing.
