Ceramic Grinding Wheel for Square Grinders (8" x 3/16")

Professional grinding wheels for Silvey, Simington and T&S chisel chain grinders. Blue ceramic grinding wheels are the optimal choice when it comes square chisel grinders. Although these wheels cost a bit more than traditional aluminum oxide wheels, they leave a cutting edge that is unmatched in sharpness. Made of a combination of vitrified ceramic and aluminum oxide blend, these wheels can leave an edge that is so sharp, it appears to be honed. Blue ceramic wheels have a few limitaions also, as they will not remove material rapidly, and will blue the cutter if you get too agressive. They also tend to wear out the diamond dressers quicker than a standard wheel. Wheels must be dressed before use.
