These boots feature a heavy duty steel shank in the arch, steel side plate, and leather side flaps which provides support and protection to the lower leg and inside ball of the foot when climbing trees, poles or standing on rungs. Red Dawg climbers come with the comfortable lace-to-toe design in oiled Red Dawg leather, Goodyear welt construction, double leather on vamps, double middle soles, and comfortable rolled, padded top bands. The Vibram 100 lug soles give good traction, even in steep ground, and are non-marking. Boots are 16" tall with brass eyelets and studs and features a leather heel base with lug.
