The aggressive spiral cut tooth pattern of the file is less likely to load up like fine cut files also. Pferd classic cut files leave an even, scratch free cutting edge with very little effort. Files are approximately 8" long, excluding tang. Pferd 5/16" diameter files are used to sharpen 3/4" pitch harvester chain only. One dozen files (2 boxes of 6 files).
