Petzl Vizir Eye Shield for Vertex/Alveo Helmets A15A (pre 2019)

Anyone that has been up a tree knows that small branches can be equally dangerous to our livelihood as big limbs. Yet, if you want to take off conventional safety glasses to get a closer look at a beetle or tree damage you have to find a place to tuck those glasses. Petzl came up with an easy solution with the Vizir. It is a snap to mount on their Vertex (A10V and A10B) and Alveo (A20V and A20V) helmets with purpose-built inserts. It adjusts to two positions: raised on top of helmet or lowered in working position. It does have good air circulation and is scratch and fog resistant.
