Oregon 27AX is part of the VersaCut product line of professional chainsaw chains. This chainsaw chain is great for professionals running large chainsaws in dirty cutting conditions, such as stump removals. This skiptooth chain will not cut as fast as chisel chain, but it is much more forgiving if it contacts abrasive materials like dirt and sand. Micro Chisel cutters have small-radius working corners for fast cutting and easy sharpening, yet they stand up better in dirty conditions as compared to chisel chain. Like most Oregon chainsaw chain this style has the LubriTec oiling system to help keep both the bar and chain well lubricated. 27AX chain sharpens with a 7/32" round file or 3/16" grinding wheel.
