Oregon 25AP is part of the ControlCut product line of chainsaw chains. This 1/4" pitch saw chain is is used on a wide variety of hand held cutting machines, including chainsaws, pole pruners and wood carving machines. Works well in both hardwoods and softwoods. This chain has a bumper drive link, so it cuts harder woods smoothly, but does not bore cut well. We do not recommend this chain for chainsaw carving, because of the bumper drive link. 25AP chain sharpens with a 5/32" round file or 1/8" grinding wheel.
