NWP ignition modules (also known as ignition coils) are an economical replacement option for your Stihl chainsaws. Ignition modules go out for various reasons, but the main culprit is excessive heat and vibration. The first sign of a faulty ignition module is when your saw runs until it gets hot, then dies. Then it will only start when it cools off. Once they are cooked, you need to replace it.
