Monofilament polypropylene yarns are extruded in colors, with the yellow being the most common. Polypropylene does not absorb water; it floats, is rot proof, and it is resistant to oil, gasoline and most chemicals and acids. When you need a nice inexpensive rope to do the job, monofilament polypropylene is a good choice.
