Professional moisture meter from Lignomat. Lignomat moisture meters are used to measure the moisture content in wood. The Ligno-Scanner D is a pinless moisture meter. Simply place the scanner on the wood and a bold reading will appear. This scanner takes a reading 3/4" deep, so it is not designed for thinner boards. The Ligno-Scanner D moisture meter uses built-in corrections for different wood species. Corrections can be programmed, just enter the specific gravity of the wood between 0.3 and 1.0. Resolution is 0.1% for entire measuring range. The Ligno-Scanner D fits in your hand when measuring and is small enough to carry in a shirt-pocket.
