Klein Steel Tree Climbers (2-3/4" Gaffs) with Steel Insert Pads

Professional tree climbers (also known as spikes, spurs and hooks) from Klein. Klein climbers are popular with arborists and utility workers because their offset gaffs give maximum penetration while climbing trees and poles. 1907AR climbers are adjustable from 15" to 19". Two slotted hex-head bolts with lock washers and barrel-type nuts securely join the steel sleeve and leg iron together. Adjustable climber length steel sleeve moves in 1/4" (6 mm) increments for the most comfortable fit. The steel split ring secures ankle strap in place and allows for quick replacement. 4-7/16" (113 mm) wide stirrup provides greater foot support fitting most. Contoured leg irons help position gaffs securely and comfortably. The extra-long gaffs provide for maximum penetration when climbing loose barked trees. These climbers come complete with Weaver leather climber pads with steel inserts and nylon leg straps. The steel inserts help support the top of the gaffs, making the leg pads much more comfortable than traditional L pads. Boots not included. Made in the U.S.A. Sold in pairs only.
