Reminiscent shape of a smaller Hudson Bay axe, the Carpenter's axe is best suited for carpentry and other wood work. It has a straight cutting edge used for whittling and carving. The head is hand forged of top quality Swedish steel and constructed so that the hand gets as close as possible to the cutting edge for maximum control. The head is attached to the handle using both a wooden and a steel wedge to secure fastening.
