Skiptooth version of the popular Husqvarna C83 X-Cut and H47 saw chain. C83S X-Cut is highly recommended for longer bars, because it has less cutters to sharpen once it dulls. Skiptooth design also allows for greater sawdust clearance when making cuts on bigger wood. Razor sharp chisel cutters make quick work of both hardwoods and softwoods. C83S works best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abrasive materials. C83S chain sharpens with a 7/32" round file or 3/16" grinding wheel.
