Oregon 12" Grinding Stone (Red 30 Grit)

Replacement grinding wheel from Oregon. These grinding wheels are designed for the Oregon mower blade sharpeners, but will work on many other grinders. Oregon replacement grinding wheels are available in two different styles, red and blue. Red wheels are made from a fine grit aluminum oxide material. Red wheels will hold their shape (last longer) as compared to blue wheels, but they remove material slowly (slow grind). Blue wheels are made of coarse grit aluminum oxide material. They will wear quickly (short life) as compared to red wheels, but they remove material quickly (fast grind).
