Top quality replacement fiberglass handle from Council Tools. Council has been making hand tools since 1886, and they set the standard for quality and design. Council fiberglass handles are made for punishing conditions, and are much tougher than their wood couterparts. Fiberglass axe handles are installed with the help of an epoxy kit (included).

Handle Replacement Instructions: To replace a wooden handle, first clean the eye thoroughly. Place axe handle in a vertical position, then slide axe head onto handle until it contacts the rubber gasket. Mix epoxy according to instructions and fill the axe head completely to the top with epoxy. Trim the remaining fiberglass with a saw.
