This kit has everything a beginning climber needs to get started for tree climbing. Keeping all of the hardware basic gives the new climber a clear understanding of their uses while training.

To get started, this kit provides a Weaver 12oz Throw Weight & Line Combo and an ArborMAX Folding Throw Line Cube to promote clean and neat storage as well as easy access while using the throw line to set your rope. Having the Weaver WLC-700 Cougar Arborist Positioning Saddle gives the new climber complete comfort and mobility while learning to climb. It features a Samson 1/2" Arbor-Plex 12-Strand Climbing Rope (120' Hank), Climb Right Triple-Lock Aluminum HMS Carabiners and Teufelberger Hi-Vee Single Eye Split Tail. With the ArborMAX Double Braid Positioning Lanyard with Steel Rope Snap Climb Right Rope Grab on your side, it allows for easy positioning while climbing. Also includes ArborMAX Rope Bag.

    Getting the Perfect Fit

    Dee to Dee Measurement - This measurement is the most important. It is the measurement from side dee to side dee on the waist belt of the saddle.
    • Drop down approximately 4" from the top of each hipbone and measure the distance around the back of the hipbone to hipbone using a tape measure. (See "Images" tab for illustration) Add 2" to this measurement. This is the Dee to Dee measurement. Please note: the added 2" will bring the dees in front of the hipbones for better positioning.
    • Remember to allow some room for adjustment for use with summer or winter clothing.
