Professional splitting maul from Ox Head (Known in Germany as Gedore Ochsenkopf). This splitting maul comes with a patented Rotband-Plus handle joint, which includes a handle sleeve, tapered collar, fixing plate and wood screw that bonds the maul head and the handle into one unit to ensure optimal safety. The long handle sleeve, made of steel, protects the handle from damage if the maul misses its target. The 638 H has a forged head which can also be used to drive splitting wedges. The slim shape makes it ideal for splitting softwood. Features a high-quality 36" hickory handle and blade-protection. The end of the handle is rounded for extra comfort. Also comes with a leather sheath.
