The Ergovation H-Style Retro Harness is a retro harness that accommodates dorsal fall arrest. It also has the ability to accommodate climbers utilizing Single Rope Technique (SRT) to access their work vertically. This H-Style Retro Harness is unmatched in comfort, durability and versatility. By utilizing the harness the climber is able to decrease the strain on the low back region and disperse the weight of the saddle, as well as the tools that the climber is using, throughout the entire upper body.
Features include:
- 1/4" closed cell foam padding for improved comfort and hygiene.
- Pads that are stitched to the harness webbing to prevent shifting and improve easy donning of harness.
- Aluminum D-ring for decreased weight and increased comfort while aloft.
- Plastic quick connect buckles to anchor and keep chest ascender vertical and in tension while ascending.
- Y2 friction buckles for quick and secure adjustment of webbing in front and in back.
The REH1 is only the upper "harness" portion for the Ergovation Saddle. When added to the Ergovation series of saddles it would be compliant as part of a Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) according to OSHA. This option can only be added to the Ergovation (#16906) series of saddles as it would not be compatible if installed on any other Buckingham or other manufacturers belt/saddle.
