ArborMAX 3/4" Tenex Whoopie Slings w/Beast Ring

ArborMAX whoopie slings with X-Rigging beast rigging ring. Ring slings are all the rage in tree rigging today. Rigging rings were originally developed by arborist David Driver (known as the X-man), as a simple concept that allows for a multitude of applications. Whoopie slings are mainly used to mount hardware (like the port-a-wrap) to the base of a tree, but they can also be used up a tree. Made from 12-strand polyester Samson Tenex TEC rope and designed for knotless rigging. One eye is fixed and the other is adjustable, with one end of the spliced rope passing through the center of the hollow core. It can be quickly adjusted to the diameter of the trunk by pulling the tag end, so you can get it nice and snug. Whoopie slings should only be used as redirects in a rigging system as they do not provide enough of a bend radius to be used as a primary rigging point, especially when dealing with significant weight.
