|Q.||I have been using the 404 063 baileys ripping chain on my 72 inch bar on my chainsaw mill powered by a 24 hp Onan gas engine.I am currently sharpening on an Oregon 511 grinder with a 3/16 stone. The grinder has a 10 degree tilt in the vise for some chains such as the oregon75RD ripping chain which is ground at 10-15 degree top plate grinding (filing)angle and 50 degree top plate cutting angle and a 75 degree sideplate angle. It requires a 10 degree tilt in the chain holding vise.Does the baileys ripping chain also require the 10 degree tilt. Please enlighten me.Thank you Lou|
|A.||Yes, it requires the same 10 degrees. Sounds like you have your ducks in order. Good job!|
