|Q.||Hi, Whilst I understand that the gloves are not chainsaw cut resistant, can you advise how resistant to knife cuts and gouges they are? The reason for the question is that amongst other things around the farm, I am also considering doing carving/whittling with a knife etc. Thank you for your answer in advance. Regards George|
|A.||Very good question. With whittling you want to have the dexterity on your whittling hand, but the hand that holds the object being whittled needs to be protected. These gloves sport kevlar dots. They would not be recommended for whittling. A sturdy point drive will puncture about any glove, but a good choice among our gloves would be 53080, Youngstown Cut Resistant Gloves. You may look also to options and recommendations for people that shuck oysters for a living.|
