Our 10" "Fire Dawg Boots" for firefighters are top of the line boots that have been designed and tested. They are made of fire resistant leather (extra toe layer) and sewn with abrasion and fire resistant Dupont Kevlar brand fiber. The Vibram 100 fire retardant outsole is also Kevlar stitched offering you extra wearability and protection. ?Fire Dawg Boots? have Cambrelle lining throughout. Cambrelle is very durable and keeps your feet cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter by wicking moisture away from your feet and letting your boots "breathe". They also have raidiantex removable insoles. Boots have leather insoles and heel counters and are supported by a steel shank and have brass studs and eyelets. Fire Dawg Boots come complete with abrasion and fire resistant Kevlar laces. Built for firefighting and other tough wear conditions.

Limited Sizes: 7D and 7EE are the last sizes available.

Dear Bailey's

I am not a fire fighter, and I do not play one on TV, but I do own a pair of Fire Dawg 10" boots. They are by far the best footwear I have ever owned.

Last weekend I participated in the 2007 Boston Walk for Breast Cancer with my sister, a breast cancer survivor. After thinking long and hard on what to wear on my feet for the 26 mile trek on the first day, I chose to wear my Fire Dawgs.

I got many comments, such as "You're walking in those?!?"

The weather was foul, the terrain was varied but mainly pavement and concrete, with all the road hazards a city like Boston can offer. I saw many people during the course of the day at the medical tents getting their feet treated for a wide variedly of ailments. I passed on by, my Dawgs eating the miles at a steady and sturdy walk. After the 26 miles on day 1 of the walk I had no blisters and my feet were dry and surprisingly showing almost no wear and tear.

I chose to go with running shoes on day 2 (only 13 miles). I was not happy with the choice. They were not nearly as effective as the Dawgs, and I did developed a blister about 10 miles in.

I want to thank you for the finest boots I have ever owned.
