Strap Chapps Leg Protection

Strap Chapps protect you from the top of your knees to the top of your feet and secure with elastic straps and hook/loop fasteners. Made from 14oz.+ cotton duck, you get front and side protection (with the back left slightly open) from the dirt and flying debris associated with string trimmers and edgers. They're also designed to keep your socks and shoelaces clean while preventing objects from getting inside your shoes. The fully adjustable height system allows them to fit different leg lengths, so you don't need to buy different sizes for the entire crew. Instructions included. One size fits all. Q.	strap leg chapps #ac09 are they heavy enouth for when i do stump grinding.I had a pair of metal leg guards from yous but i lost one.so i have to buy a new pair
A.	No, these offer protection from flinging grass, like from weed timmers or walking through bramble. It is not intended to provide the kind of protection you require for stump grinding.

Never thought I would wear them! Wrong!

My wife got me these for summer chores like weed eating and firewood splitting. The skin on my legs has gotten much thinner, easier to cut and longer to heal as I gracefully age. These are much cooler and have better protection than jeans or work pants. They keep debris out of low cut boots or shoes like saw dust or grass. In addition I use them to protect my knees when working on tractors and garden work. They are easy to adjust and stay up! My wife uses them too and now does more weed eating. They are getting well used this summer.

These are perfect for trimming with shorts. Easy to take on and off and give you full protection from debris. They cover from just above the knee down to your ankle and stay up on you legs very well. A must have for anyone who does alot of weedeating but hates to wear long pants all the time.
