Q.	I will be cutting tree tops for fire wood after a logging operation and thinking about buying an Echo cs 330T saw. Will this saw stand up to that kind of use?
A.	Yes, it's considered a professional top handled saw. It's been a staple seller for us as Echo saws are known for their long term reliability.

Q.	I have a 330T model Echo chainsaw and it is great in performance really handy and easy to use. My question is: the stop switch does not work I have checked the wiring and jumpered the switch and that is not the problem. Any suggestion and is this a common problem. Aside from this problem this is the greatest saw I have ever used, very powerful for its size.

Great top handle for the $$

Bought this saw new in spring of 2009 and its been great performer to this day. Starts easy cold or hot. Air filter stays real clean with minimal service. Light saw that spins a 14" B&C real well when properly tuned. Excellent adjustable bar oiler. Saw can limb and prune for a long time on a tank of gas, a big plus to keep working and making money. I've never had to service it, only thing I've replaced is chain loops as they wear down. Great buy for the price!

Power Boost Vortex

The Power Boost Vortex engine in this tiny saw is, I think, the reason for its great performance. Also, I'm suspecting a higher than normal compression ratio, because Echo tells you to skip the straight unleaded and go to the next higher grade of gas. When I take the first pull on a cold morning, I always wonder why Echo didn't put on a compression release, but after warming it pulls easy enough. Anyway, I put it up against my Homelite XL-12 cutting 14 green Alder cordwood lengths. Lugging a 16 bar, it cut nearly at twice the rate of the old Homelite. Still, it's happiest with the standard 14 bar and low profile chain. With this combo the balance is unreal. The 330 being a top handle saw, I find myself too often cutting one handed even though I know better. The 330 is actually intended to be a limbing saw for arborists, but I had to max it out just to see what it would do. Am so pleased that I have my order in for the 450, recently upgraded by Echo to the power boost vortex. I wouldn't be at all surprised if eventually Echo outfitted their entire line with this feature. The 330 and 360 already have it. The two are identical, except for a few more cubes in the 360 and a few less bucks for the CS-330T. I've fooled around with a number of chainsaws, beginning in 1961 with the family McCulloch and my own Stihl monster with Mercury engine. Have 5 runners at the moment. That said, the sweet 330 tops them all, new and old alike.
