Why fuss with a small stump? Just pull it out with this heavy duty Brush Grubber. Perfect for use with compact tractors, lawn tractors, and ATV's. Once the jaws are clamped down it will not slip off or around brush. This one can handle small tree stumps and brush up to 4" in diameter. Great for the environment as it leaves no roots to chemically treat. The ideal tool for removing buckthorn and prickly ash. There are 16 gripping teeth inside the strong jaws. Made with heavy duty 3/4" steel and 3/4" pins. Grip pads rotate 360 degrees for the best fit.

Q.	How small of a stump will the heavy duty brush grubber work on?
A.	No minimum is listed but to engage every tooth it would have to be about 1-1/2".

This thing owns brush!

I purchased this unit, but before using decided upgrade to the BG-08 model. Great choice. The heavy duty is constructed significantly better. The BG-08 does a awesome job of pulling buck thorn, box elder and choke cherry. I was using a mini wheel loader (think large skid steer) and it would just pop the brush right out. If you can get the grubber around it, that piece of wood is moving. The loader worked great for this because I could then turn and place all of the stumps on top of each other. In about an hour two of us pulled a good two dozen bushes. If you just dropped the brush where you pulled it, that number could be easily doubled. For big jobs, a loader could easily handle several of these units at once. Based on my experience, this tool will not work for skidding logs because it tends to release if it's not under constant tension.

I have the BG08 and it works GREAT. Two people can make a lot of progress in a single afternoon - one driving and one hooking up to the trees. We use it with a d-ring and a 6 foot lifting strap fastened to an F150. The weight of the truck basically pulls out everything we hooked on to with nothing more than idle speed. I haven't used it with my compact tractor or ATV yet, but it will perform as advertised. E. C. Michigan

I can't believe how well it works

This little fella saved my wife and I a ton of work. We bought some property that is loaded with millions of small oak trees. We have been pulling them out with chains and chokers but it only works on every other one or so. Yesterday with The Brush Grubber, we must have pulled out 100 1/2-4" trees and I think it only slipped off one. I wish I would have bought this years ago.
