Q.	Are the bugz-eye mesh goggles high or medium impact, could they be used for breaking out concrete.

Q.	Could these goggles be used for airsoft? Is the wire mesh strong or bendable?

Q.	Do these goggles fog up? Are there any goggles like these that will allow me to wear reading glasses inside them?
A.	Wire mesh does not fog. These will not work over glasses but item # 35615 will.

Q.	How is the vision on the periphery? Is it as clear and unobstructive as is appears in the picture? Any distortion on the periphery? These look perfect for airsoft. Anybody tried that yet?
A.	Customers do say they work well for Airsoft but they are not certified as such.

Q.	Not a question but a comment about using them for Airsoft: we all use them they are the only thing I would suggest you use. They will not break they are hard to find in my town.

Q.	Are these as durable as standard safety glasses for protection? How fine is the mesh?
A.	This product has never been certified, yet they are very popular. They will never fog. It is up to each individual to determine if they are appropriate for their situation. The # 20 mesh gives 20 wires per inch.

A MUST HAVE

SAFTY GLASSES ARE A MUST AROUND CHAINSAWS AND WOOD SPLITERS, MY GLASSES WERE ALWAYS FOGING UP ON ME, BEFORE TO LONG MY GLASSES WOULD BE OFF AND I WOULD JUST HOPE NOTHING GOT IN MY EYES. KNOW I PUT MY BUGZ-EYE'S ON AND CUT AND SPLIT ALL DAY WITH NO FOG. THEY ARE A MUST HAVE! MONEY WELL SPENT!

Durable, comfortable, and a wise choice.

First I am the type of person that cannot stand scratches in my sunglasses, safety glasses, or goggles, as the scratches constantly distract my focus. This is my favorite feature of the Bugz, as they don't scratch and the wire mesh does not distract your vision such as a scratch in a pair of safety glasses. The #20 mesh does let dust sized particles through, but wood chips are not a problem. The goggles fit my face comfortably, offer protection from the side, and help keep sweat and grit out of your eyes while still allowing them to breathe. I wear these over my cap style hardhat, and just pull the front down to my face when I need them, but they are also comfortable around the neck when not in use. The strap fits comfortably above the ears, and has a wide range of adjustment. I have friends in wildland fire that have broken the nose piece that connects the two goggles. But I have never experienced this problem in over two years (longest I've had a pair before losing them). For $20 you can't beat bugz!

OK for some people

These are well-made, and of course don't fog up. The wide strap is nice, but at least as far as I could tell, must be worn over the ears. You could probably get used to this, but if you have sensitive ears and wear hearing protection earmuffs, the straps don't let the earmuffs seal completely, and you have some noise leakage. They didn't work for me.

I own a farm....these are great for chipping and sawing.....work better than the screen on the front of the helmet....these keep all kinds of debris out of your eyes... quality made....wish the same manufacturer made glass/poly goggles, too. You'll find other uses for these micro-screen goggles....

Awesome and they don't fog up!

Okay, first full disclosure: I am a Bailey's employee. With that said, one weekend I was chipping up tile in my dining room and needed to find something to protect my eyes from flying chips. I tried the two hardware stores in my small town and came up empty. All of the saftey glasses I tried fogged up almost immediately. On Monday I remembered these Bugz eye goggles and immediately ordered a pair. Wow, what a difference. Comfortable, secure and no fogging! I now use these for a wide variety of purposes including cutting firewood and brushcutting. Highly recommended.
