So between shipping and customs you'd be looking at a considerable amount. Bailey's may be able to work out a better shipping deal, but not by much more if we work in conjunction with Ropetek.

I have been quite privileged to use the Ropetek Wraptor in both recreational climbing and in real work environments in the tree care industry. In the work environment, the Wraptor excels in multiple ascent and high ascent capability. This tool will extend the energy level of a climber by eliminating the physical ascent. By speeding the entry into the work position and saving the climber energy, I experienced an increase in productivity. The Wraptor may also very well extend a climbers ability to continue in high angle work as they get older. I highly recommend this piece of equipment. I should have thought of this! I went 270 feet up a redwood tree without breaking a sweat using the Wraptor. This is a great tool for production tree climbing. Arriving at your tie in point without being all worn out leaves you with all that energy to spend on trimming the tree instead of getting up top. The inventor's use of off the shelf parts has made this affordable.

I've been given the opportunity to use a Wraptor on several occasions. It is a very handy tool, that saves me lots of energy on those long ascents. I first tried one out at the west coast get together of 2009, on a 230ft redwood in front of Confusion Hill, (took a little over 2 minutes for my ascent). From there I was allowed to use one of the prototypes to try out in my shop. I found for my operations I like to use it on day 2 of large removals. When you have to climb back up 130 ft or more to get back into the canopy, it can tire you. But not with the Wraptor...leave a line dead ended in the tree the night before, and be in the top in minutes, with little effort. Now I'm trying to get throw-lines higher into these trees, so I can use a Wraptor instead of manually climbing up. If you are into climbing large trees, or make a living off of crews climbing multiple large trees per day, this tool will boost your productivity. It's very easy to set up, and from the operators perspective a safe, comfortable, ride into the canopy. It was a sad day to have to send it back to the manufacturer. We are budgeting for one now, because I find trees weekly that I could use it on. We purchased a Wraptor after winning a municipal contract with many tall trees in it. This unit allowed me to do an extra tree or two a day because I knew I wouldn't have to drag myself "all the way up there" but could just ride up and work my way down. I am very glad to have invested in this device that makes me and my crew more efficient.

I've been fortunate enough to have been using the Wraptor in every day tree work for the last few months. Whether it's a 25' ascent, or a 125' ascent, the Wraptor is easy to set up, ascend, and retrieve. The way I feel in the morning, is the way I feel at the end of the day. It's allowed me being a small business, in certain situations to come down and help the grounds men clean up the overwhelming mountain of debris. Coming down for lunch isn't a hard decision anymore, it's automatic. My business is a lot more efficient than it's ever been, with less work!

This product has been a long time coming - a powered ascender you can actually afford! The Wraptor gets even my burly size into a tree in no time, and it makes coming down to take a break easy. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

This machine is yet another step on the path to the future of arboriculture. Insurance, taxes and regulation are forcing small companies to mechanize as much as possible and eliminate costly employees. This machine is part of that movement, allowing one climber to make dozens of ascents per day without wearing himself out. I've used several of the prototypes in the last year and a half as Paul has developed and refined his product. The attention to detail and Paul's constant refinements to continually improve the Wraptor has been amazing to witness. I thought the first units were fantastic and completely trustworthy, but Paul keeps finding ways to make small improvements to make this the best unit possible.
