nice well built scabbard

Real thick material. It has a hard plastic bushing to protect the sheath from the blade when going in/out of the scabbard. The previous post stated there is no way to secure the saw to the scabbard. There is a clip on the backside to attack to your harness and there is also a clip on the topside as seen in the picture to secure a loop of cord. The small clip was a bit hard to open with my gloves on. To fix this I replaced the tiny clip with a small 55lb carabiner.

13" Curved Pruning Saw Scabbard

I ordered this product for a pruning saw I had previously purchased at a home center. It too is a 13" curved saw made by Fiskar. The scabbard fits perfectly. Also, the picture of the scabbard does not do it justice. The scabbard is very sturdy with structural supports at both ends. So, the scabbard will not bend and is not floppy as you might think based on the picture. The snap on the front and the d-ring on the back are strong. The one downside to this product is that it does not come with a way to secure the saw in the sheath. You will have to come up with something that works for you. I use the saw in an arborist fashion in trees thus putting myself, and the saw, in many positions. The saw could fall out of the sheath if you move about vigorously where the tip moves to a 90 or > angle from pointing downward.
