Tough and Comfortable

These jeans are technically made by Berne. But thats ok. In fact that's great. These pants are not made in America yet they are still quality. Nice, relaxed fit. Remember that you can easily snip the suspender buttons off without hurting the pants in any way. This way wearing a belt is less painful.

Not the same as the Canadian version

These are WAY different material than the old Canadian version. The material streches out and feels like you are swimming in them by noon. The quality control is poor. The length on 32" inseam literally varied by 3". The front belt loops were so far back (almost behind the front pocket) that I had to pay a seamstress to cut and move them (and re-hem them)

Stretch denim?

I purchased 2 pair and one pair has the rear 2 buttons so far out of lead I cant use my suspenders with them, it feels like I have both suspender ends on the same side, guess I will cut them off and put some new ones on. I would send them back but already threw away all the labels and snagged them off, ( I haven't complained to Baileys, I'm just going to fix them)
The denim seems like stretch denim and feels like it would rip easy.
I will add another review after a week or two wearing them in the Riggin under the lines.

These are by far the best jeans to be had. More comfortable than Key Logger Jeans and every other brand that I have tried. Very Well Made. They'll take just about anything you can do to them.

Not the same fit and finish as they were in the days before the Canadian manufacturer folded. Decent. The fit is a bit larger, especially in the seat and thighs. They will work for now.

Excellent Rugged Jeans

I bought a pair of these for my husband, who found them extremely comfortable for working in the yard, or just wearing around. He hated when they went in the wash, so I got him another pair. He had never worn braces/suspenders, however found them much more comfortable than a belt. My brother liked them so much, I got 3 pairs for him for Christmas. He thinks they are excellent, because he always wears suspenders. Now so does my Husband! Normally his jeans wear out within a year, but these are going on 4 and still going strong. My only regret is that they are not made in USA.

These jeans have quickly became my favorite pair of pants. They have been great as work pants, and wear well as casual pants. I like the toughness, durability, and looks of these jeans. Try a pair, you wont be disappointed.

My Favorite Pants
|

Beyond working in the woods, these are my favorite pants for all-around work wear. The fit is nice and comfortable - cut for movement in the real world, not the fashion runway. I rely on the right-side ruler pocket in the shop. They DO NOT have a hammer loop like brand C, which tends to be a nuisance as it catches on things like vise handles and cabinet knobs. With a pair of suspenders, they make a good pair of motorcycle jeans, as they don't bind or ride down, and have enough room for a pair of long johns for the cool mornings.
I just wish the dog hadn't taste-tested a couple pairs of my last order.

CORRECTION - I put on my reading glasses and saw that the tag inside said 38x34. They were mistagged on the outside labels. Diana was great and tradded them in for me. The 36x34 she sent to me fit great. Bailey's showed great customer service and I will continue to come back.

They run LARGE

I wear a 35-36" waist, so I bought the 36x34. They were about 2 inches big in the waist. I tried shrinking them, 5-6 times with boiling water and a hot dryer, but they didn't shrink that much. I think I can wear them this winter. But I had to buy a 34x34 to wear now. If you're not going to be wearing thick shirts and long johns, order a size down or you'll be swimming in them. Other than that they are tough and allow a lot of freedom of movement, and they won't shrink much.
