Green Earth G-Oil Bar and Chain Oil - One Gallon

Getting back to basics hasn't been more environmentally friendly. This non-toxic bar oil is great for around the home or out in the woods. It is designed to be used with any chainsaw and even increases the life and efficiency of your machine. It has excellent lubricity, temperature stability and tackiness to minimize sling.

G-Oil is made entirely from American Grown Base Oils that now puts the power of patent pending nanotechnology (doing more with less) and dehydrogenation into the hands of environmentally concerned consumers everywhere. Ultimate Biodegradable (ASTM Standard's highest available ranking) and environmentally safe G-OIL replaces the petrochemical base of traditional oil products with an "ultimate biodegradable" bio-base. This base, called tallow, or animal fat, is sustainable and can be collected domestically with grown beef, pork and chicken fat.

Perfect, every time.

I'm now using this product for the third year in a row with NO FLAWS. Those who have had trouble are probably mixing their old bar oils with this, which you should not do (like mixing two different of anything). If you are trying this for the first time, try to use up all of your old bar oil in the saw BEFORE adding this product. I use it near my creek, in the woods, in my lawn - everywhere with no ill effect. It comes out of my work pants and I don't have to worry about regular petroleum-based oil going into my septic. I cut all my wood with this 4-6 cords a year and can't say enough good about it. If there were any issues I've had it's that I have to always order it because nobody keeps the gallons in stock - hence why I'm on this web site.

No corrosion issues

I've run this oil in two of my saws for the past month or so since it's been warm out and I've yet to have any of the corrosion issues others are mentioning. I'm impressed with it. I'm able to tell some of my more "environmentally conscious" clients that I use a biodegradable bar oil made from animal fat and they think it's the best thing ever.

I couldn’t agree more with Chris' review of this product(see G-Oil, Case). I do a lot of cutting in and around creek beds so I wanted to give it a try. I would really like to give this stuff a good review but can’t. First of all it doesn’t mix well with regular bar oil. All it did was turn to gel in the tank so I wound up with little or no oil getting to the bar and chain. Then you have a mess in the oil tank and pump that has to be dumped, cleaned and purged. Nowhere on the label does it say to not mix with other oil or to use only by itself. Secondly, with the oil that does makes it through the pump before it gels I’ve had problems with crystallization and oxidation anywhere this stuff goes which means more maintenance. I’ve never had these problems with any other bar and chain oil. I’d like to think I just got a bad batch but it won’t be going in any of my saws ever again. It might be environmentally friendly but it sure isn’t chainsaw friendly.

It is so cool to use a product that works so well and is safe for the environment!!! Plus, MADE IN AMERICA!! If this was spilled in any body of water it would not be a natural disaster. Thanks Baileys and Green Earth!!
