Maxi-Flip Wire-Core Flipline

Simply the best flipline made! Yale’s Maxi-Flip wire-core fliplines feature a 3/16" steel aircraft cable in the center and are hand spliced using a free-flex Flemish eye. This technique results in higher strength and less wear. The synthetic rope cover is held securely in place with a press fitting. A swivel snap is attached to a steel thimble at the lead end. The cover with Maxi-Jacket coating is a proven performer with high wear resistance and consistent, comfortable hand grip characteristics. Match one up with a hip prusik or mechanical rope grab, and you have the ultimate lanyard system.

Awesome Flip line

This is a great product. I added a Petzl Rope Grab and it makes a great system. A little expensive but like the previous review states - it's your life.

excellent flip line

I have used this flip line for ten years now and love it. It is the perfect "firmness" to get a good flip and also grips wet trees well-I live in Seattle. Coupled with a Petzl macro rope grab this system is hard to beat. Some of the budget systems I've tried don't grab properly and can be a little scary when they slide back. This system is somewhat expensive but your life is worth it. In my opinion this is money well spent.
