Q.	What is length? What is bar made out of? Thanks.
A.	The Woodchuck handle is 48" long and is made from 6061 aluminum.

Q.	While I might find the additional functions of this Woodchuck useful occasionally, I'm primarily looking for something to roll and lift 8-16" diameter logs off rough ground while cutting firewood. Would you recommend this or one of the heavy duty aluminum blue handled cant hook / lifter setups--or something else?
A.	We'd heartily recommend this unit. As the picture shows it is an ample foot to lift your logs off the ground for you.

wish I had this 20 years ago

I knew when I saw the Woodchuck tool that it was what I have needed for years. The log holder has worked out awesome. I get a lot of small stuff that doesn't need splitting. It is far easier then cutting on the ground or having someone hold the wood. The larger stuff i change it to the log lifter for the larger logs and I am far more productive because the leverage reduces the stress on my back, the chain saw blade doesn't bind up and I am not hitting the ground dulling my chain. Where was this 20 years ago?
