Solo 433 Power Backpack Sprayer

The 433 is perfect for large applications. It can spray up to 435 psi, which will get you a fine mist to amazing heights. The 5.6 gallon capacity tank uses a piston pump, driven by a 25cc 2-cycle engine (1 hp) to produce a flow rate of up to 1/2 gallon per minute. The sprayer features a 24" stainless steel spray tube with pressure gauge to match any application. Double flat-jet nozzle includes stainless steel screens. Designed for liquid (non-powdered) chemicals. The straps are made for hours of comfortable use and are 2-3/4" wide by about 3/8" thick. There is also a lumbar pad on the lower back strap. Cannot be shipped to California.

Q.	What type of shoulder straps does the SOLO 433 have? Are the straps secured from the top of the tank to the bottom of the frame? Are the straps wide enough not to "cut" into your shoulder? Thank You , Rob
A.	The straps are 2-3/4" wide by about 3/8" thick - definitely made for hours of comfortable use. There is also a pad on the bottom back half to protect the lower back.

Q.	To what height can this unit spray ? Thank you.
A.	In most conditions with most chemicals it's 30'-35'.

Q.	I'm considering the possibility of using the Solo 433 Power Backpack Sprayer for the control of a leafspot (fungal, Yellow/Black Sigatoka) disease in bananas. That is applied, in hot-humid tropical conditions on very fragmented, small-scale banana production - averaging about one hectare or 2 1/4 acres per farm unit. The current method of application in practice, with the more powerful mist blowers (such as your Solo 450), is to propell a mist-spray containing a sprayoil-fungicide mixture through the canopy between crop rows, to ensure that the younger leaves of the banana plant are well covered and protected as it (the spray-mist) returns downwards onto the banana canopy, a canopy configuration where the youngest leaf emerges from a central top position in a spiral sequence.
