The SBN 390 is a factory sealed unit that has been pressure, and vacuum tested thereby saving the cost of special tools, and crossing fingers. If this kit is being installed on a saw that does not have a compression release, or a compression release plug, you also will need to purchase HVP 503 55 22 01 to complete your kit.

Our factory does several quality control checks to ensure that these kits are made to O.E.M. specifications and components are top quality. Proper installation is critical, and should be done by a trained chainsaw mechanic to O.E.M. specifications. Remember, 99% of all piston failures are due to operator error, which includes incorrect carburetor settings, incorrect fuel mixture or improper air filter maintenance.
