Q.	Which tool would be more useful to an infrequent tree cutter, a peavey or timberjack?
A.	A nice feature about this product is that you can turn it into a Timberjack with the purchase of the Universal Stand (item # ULS 006). Most users get by fine with just the Peavey, but for lifting the log the Timberjack feature is key.

Q.	What is the difference between a cant hook and a peavey?
A.	The Peavey has the straight point on the end, while the Cant Hook has the bent point. The Peavey can give more leverage but also damage the wood in the case of finished lumber. "Peavey" and "Cant Hook" are often mixed up. For firewood use the Peavey is often preferred.

Q.	On the Logrite Peavey models XPV060, PV060 & PV042 are jaws all the same size?
A.	The XPV 060 and PV 060 will grip logs 10" to 36" in diameter. The PV 042 will grip logs 8" to 32" in diameter.

Excellent Product

This peavy does just what it should. It can really save the day "rolling" hung up trees or freeing a stuck saw. Its also great for turning logs to finish cuts when making firewood. Never touch the ground with your chain again (okay, almost never). The bright handle helps you retain ownership too.
