If you've never ordered Wild Ass pants, add 1" – 2" to your usual jean waist size, but do not increase the length. Wash as follows for a comfortable fit. Wash in hot/warm water the first 2–3 times (depending if you prefer a loose or snug fit). Once you're satisfied with the fit, switch to cold water. This will allow you to maintain the size and develop a unique, broken-in finish.

Pockets on these singles are the same as the doubles at 6.5" square. We like to boast about the entire jean, how tough it is. Yes, they are great work jeans and have a lot of excellent features for that purpose.

I usually wear 32X34 and ordered a pair of doubles and two pairs of the single front jeans in 34X34. I washed them in hot water twice, and they fit fine. I am very happy to buy made in the USA clothes, more so at these prices. As I have no truck with giving people paying their debt to society some skills and work ethic, my only regret is I didn't order more.

The jeans overall are a great work jean - but please make a version WITHOUT the studs for suspenders. They can be painful when you don't wear suspenders. I'll be watching for those, but won't buy anymore with the studs.

I bought 2 of the singles and 1 double. I had to wait over a month for them to get in stock but it was well worth the wait. The denim is quality, stitching is perfect, and feel is rugged. They aren't as stiff as they're made out to be and as much as I would rather not have the suspender studs, I can overlook that. For the price there is no better pair of jeans.

I agree with CHARLES P from MI. Suspender studs are a real pain in the waist if you wear a belt or tool belt... I cut the studs off but it does leave a nasty fray hole. Few guys here wear suspenders. Save some production costs, set yourself apart from the other "Prison Blues" by offering "studless" work jeans. -Real studs don't need suspenders-

I ordered one waist size bigger and my normal length and after two washings they fit very well. They were comfortable from the beginning. The change pocket is wide enough at the top that you can get your change out. Some of the dye has already faded but that doesn't matter. The suspender studs will put bruises on your waist if you wear an equipment belt over them. Baileys should try a no stud option and see how much demand there really is for the studs. I cut mine off with a Dremel. The denim is heavy and they are made in the U.S. There is a little pocket on the side about halfway down whose purpose is unclear. Maybe it is for wedges but if you are wearing chaps you can't get to it. I got a compliment for the label the first time I wore them in presence of other people.

I have been wearing wild asses for a very long time . The ones done overseas were ok and held up good but the tag at the waist really was a pain when you got sweaty. Hey they are work pants. The straight leg design isn't so big as be a snag ploblem either. thanks.

It sounds like some of the reviewers had no luck getting the right size. I did o.k. In regular jeans, I'm a 32/34 or 33/34, I ordered a 34/34 in these jeans and they after washing they're perfect. I love the old fashioned un-pre-washed denim, and the really heavy material. It's like the jeans I remember as a kid. My first pair held up very well, and I'm ordering another since they're on sale.

I purchased a pair of the singles and washed them in cold water then lined dried them. They came out two sizes too small in the waist, my fault for not trying them on before I washed them. Customer service will not take them back, save your money and buy brand C.

i had the same problem. I ordered the pants a size bigger and they were way too big(especially at the bottom) even after washing 3to4 times in hot water they did not shrink enough. good quality pants just bad sizing info.

I've been a Wild Ass fan for years and wasted money and bought 4 pair of the oversea's version. Now I bought 4 pair of the "New" version, sold above, and again was dissapointed. They are not even close to the "Original". I've washed them in hot water as per instructions, and they feel like Bozo pants. I took the new pair after washing several times, and compaired it to the cuffs of one of my old original pairs. These new ones were 2" wider! No wonder they feel like clown pants.
