How to measure for your new chaps
Chaps are measured from the top of your belt down to the top of your foot. Just hook a tape measure in your trousers and let it fall to the ground. It's that easy!

Q.	How does sizing work on these chaps? Specifically, I have a short inseam (30 inches). I can see the cuffs adjust but, what about higher up? Does material bunch up for those with smaller waists (32 inches)? I don't want to get hung up on stuff because extra material is getting caught on stuff. Thanks! Sid
A.	See the addition specs measuring and sizing instructions. It is not based on inseam.

Q.	I know that Kevlar can be damaged by some laundry detergents, so what's the best soap product to wash these chaps?
A.	Husqvarna says that any detergent is fine, none are specifically recommended nor ones they say are to be avoided.

Q.	We recently ordered these chaps for a couple of our foresters. The guys were really pleased with them. However, we have a few foresters who are over 6'3 and these are too short for them. We want the same item but in a longer length such as 40" to 42". I have reserached the Husqvarna site and located a pair: Item No. 605 00 10 52. Is this an item we can purchase through your site? A.	Yes, we do carry that size in the Husqvarna Full Wrap chaps. It looks like Husqvarna has changed their part number on that size. The new part number is 521 89 78 07.

Q.	Why are these chaps "hand wash" only? Since Husqvarna is not concerned about various detergents, is it OK to wash these in a front-load washer? (I know top load washers can cause some problems because of how their agitation cycle works)
A.	The "hand wash" approval was from Husqvarna. Bear in mind that there are elastic bands and plastic buckles on these chaps. When articles with elastic are "thrown in the wash" they tend to get stretched out of shape. The ladies use mesh laundry bags to wash their stretchables in to avoid that result.
