Q.	What is the diameter of the hexagonal shank? I would like to use this kit with an extension.

great bits poorly packaged for shipping

Awesome bits; clean, fast boring. Great price. Recommended. Unfortunately Baileys didn't pack the shipping box very well. The wooden auger box was not tight inside the cardboard shipping box, and the heavy bits damaged the inside and one of the ends of the wooden box. Also, one of the latches was broken. It's a somewhat flimsy box to start with, given the weight of the contents, so it should have been secured well (snug) inside the cardboard shipping box, to avoid movement. Baileys take note. (I usually have no issues at all with Baileys products and shipping)

You WANT these bits......

I purchased these because I am in construction and have to drill alot of holes in various thickness's of wood. Whether for Lag Bolts, or running water lines, gas lines and Electrical. I have bought many different brands and styles with many headaches and broken Knuckles....These bits are high quality steel, very sharp and don't bind up. I use the Dewalt 18 volt XPR cordless drill. Most other brands drag the battery down very fast. NOT THESE bits. I was able to drill twice as many holes as normal. And the price is great as well. Much cheaper than any wheres else that I can find. I am going to buy another set just to have as a back up....... I HIGHLY recommend that you get these bits....... Thanks, Harold
