I have this 33" bar with the 100 link ripping chain. Can I use on a Stihl 390 or 391? It fits on the the Stihl 390 but is there any compatiability issues? Should I get a bigger chainsaw?

You'll need a big ol' Stihl chainsaw. See the chainsaw listed that it fits. Besides that, a 33" bar for your Stihl 390 or 391 would be under powered for ripping. When ripping try to select a bar that is the minimum recommended size. Ripping takes a bit more power than conventional crosscutting
