Greetings - This is a stand alone unit not made to attach to any helmet. As for components to attach to a helmet we carry them but it depends on which brand you use. Use "PELTOR" or "ROCKMAN" in the search to see two examples of what is available.

Yes, there is a replacement mesh shield available for this face and hearing protector. See item- B19688W. The ear muffs and ratchet system is not available separately though at this time.

I have run chain saws on and off for 30 years.Bought this unit from Baileys and am very happy with it.Mesh face protection sheild is very good.Hearing protection is excellent.They are removeable.But can not be flipper up for easy commuction or when they are not needed.The ratchet system is very good.The head band is padded making the wearing very comfortable.The price was very good as well.Quality of this unit was excellent.Had to rate this 5 stars.

Full disclosure: Bailey's Director of Marketing, here. Well, it seems that quite a few of us here at Bailey's have bought and used this product (that's usually a good sign). I personally use it year round and love it. In the Fall and Winter it's great for splitting firewood with my 20 year old (and very loud) wood splitter. In the Spring and Summer it's perfect for weed eating. The mesh shield works great for deflecting all the flying debris that my string trimmer kicks up and the hearing protection is very lightweight and comfortable. Highly recommended.

I got this and the extra clear shield. I do a lot of wood working in the winter and don't need a hard hat for that. It fits nicely over a stocking cap or on hot days just a bandanna, or turned around baseball cap. My family borrows it for everything from weed trimming to tile cutting. The clear shield is great for grinding too with a particle mask underneath.

Nice product for the money. It's light and comfortable. My only negative comment is that you can't flip the earmuffs up like you can on a helmet system.
