Q.	I have a Dolmar 111, I'm running 3/8 chain, Why can I not find a bar and chain combo or even a bar with this size configuration on your web site. Is it possible to run a bigger chain size without damage to the saw? I have only ran what I was sold since I bought the saw new. How or where do I read the size of the drive sprocket on my saw?
A.	The older model saws have more low end power so they could handle the larger kerf of a standard 3/8 chain on a 52 cc engine. Today's saws rely on chain speed, so they have less torque and require smaller kerf chains for best performance. Today 325 pitch is normally used on this size saw. Any 3/8 bar ... Any 3/8 bar that has SJ or CJ as part of the item # will work on your saw. You could change the sprocket to a 325 and then you would have bar and chain combo options. (Hide full answer)

Q.	Would this fit a John Deere CS62 with a 325 sprocket? I ask as the set that's on it now is a 325 050. Thanks
A.	It would work on your saw, but this is the 058 gauge version. You could also use the BCC 20 SJ50, which is the .050 gauge.

Q.	Will this ArborMax 20" combo fit my Jonsered CS 2152T saw? Presently running an 18" bar with .325 pitch .058 gauge chain. Notice you also have a 20" ArborPRO combo available with .050 gauge chain. Will this combo fit my saw? Besides the gauge, what is the difference between the two combos?
A.	That would be right at the edge of needing another drive link. If you want to save money by buying pre-packed loop, and the chain is a little short to slide over, you could install the bar, chain, and rim at the same time. As soon as you run it a bit, it will loosen enough to get on and off.

Q.	My saw has a chain tensioning screw. Does this bar have the holes at the sprocket end to accept the tensioning pin?
A.	If this bar is listed as fitting your saw it will work fine.

Q.	When sharpening this chain with a grinder, what angles do you recommend? 25 or 30 for the Vice Angle? 55 or 60 for the Top Plate Angle? (The manual shows 55/60 in some locations.) 10 for the Tilt Angle? What is Carlton's model number for this chain? K2C or K2L? Thanks!
A.	This is Carlton's K2L that we private label. Vice angle - 25°, Top Plate - 60°, Tilt - 10°.
