Q.	Do all parts listed for a Stihl 026 fit a Stihl 026 PRO? What is the difference in the two? Thanks
A.	This bar would work on both if you are running 325 pitch .063 gauge chain. As the for the differences between the saws, the Pro comes with a dual port muffler, but besides this there are very few differences: they basically share the same parts list.

Q.	I currently have a Stihl MS-290 ,pitch .325 ,bar .063, 20 inch length. In selecting a different bar and chain combo, is the pitch the main factor I should consider with matching another bar and chain combo? I am assuming that the pitch is what matches up the chain with the sprocket, correct?
A.	Yes, that is correct when buying both a bar and chain as sprockets are not gauge specific.

Q.	I have a Homelite saw that I've made an adapter to use Stihl bars with the 12.3mm mount. Does this bar have that mount pattern. I believe Oregon calls it the D025 mount.
A.	Yes, any bar with the "SS" in the item # is the Oregon 025 mount with that corresponding bar slot size and oil holes.

Q.	I have a Stihl 034 18" bar with .050 gauge, 3/8 pitch and in need of a bar/chain combo. I found the Arbormax combo but it is .063 gauge and .325 pitch. I know that I can replace the sprocket to accommodate the pitch but I have heard that it should stay 3/8 as the saw is to big for .325? Also, is .063 okay for the 034? Thanks
A.	It is not uncommon to find a 325 pitch on an 034. We would suggest item # ORF 34162 with the 325-7 rim. The .063 gauge is how Stihl makes all their 325 chain, so it works fine.
