900TR Hydraulic Log Loader

Here is the ultimate logging companion to your ATV! The 900TR is a fully hydraulic grapple loading trailer, complete with Honda 5.5HP power unit. The trailer overall dimensions are 54" wide by 142" long and the log bed dimensions are 26" x 96". The hydraulic crane has a reach of 9' and a lifting capacity of 900 lbs. The grapple has a maximum opening of 29". Trailer has two sets of 25" x 12" x 10" tires with independent suspension for maneuvering around in the forest. Trailer has a maximum capacity of 3,500 lbs. Trailer hitch accepts 1-7/8" ball. Overall trailer weight is 1136 lbs. F.O.B. factory.

A.	No, it's made for an ATV and wouldn't be legal on the highway.

A.	Greetings - A general guideline would be minimum 400-450cc two wheel drive, or 350cc 4x4. But there are other factors to consider like pulling capacity and weight. Q.	I'm looking at a used 900TR Can I just change the tires on this unit to make it road legal? Or do I have to make other changes and what would those be? Can you add brakes to the trailer or is that OEM only?
A.	The 900TR is not built for the road, and AM Machinery will not certify it for road use. They do not feel it would be safe, and advise not to try to convert it.

Q.	Do you know if an energy wood head will fit on this?For felling and shearing small timber.I know they make them,just don't see one on your site.
A.	It should mount fine, but the big question is what size head you are considering. This unit will out put 2600 PSI with 2 GPM.

Q.	what is the footprint of the trailer (psi) empty and loaded can only use equipment with an 8 psi footprint or less and want to know if this fits that standard
A.	We were only able to find out the PSI footprint unloaded for this unit. The unloaded PSI is 4.

The 900 was purchased about 7 years ago for cleanup of a bad logging operation. It did a great job of moving brush and fire wood. I have since up graded to 9hp honda and larger pump and I love the new power and lift. I use this machine 20 to 30 hrs per month, more when getting in fire wood and it performs like a piece of construction equipment should. I would hate to be without it. Bill from New Hampshire
