Q.	Is the sheath that comes with this axe the normal plastic one that comes with most Fiskars axes or is it leather?
A.	It is the standard plastic version. Item # 41480 is a leather sheath can be purchase separately.

Great axe

Whats not to like about an axe that's razor sharp, unbreakable and easier to swing than John Kerry. After finding the splitter so good I brought one of these and its been a wonderful tool. The edge is pretty fine so you have to watch for nails and stones but its so sharp and easy to swing, its music to use. On occasion when we have had enough of saws the Fiskars gets pulled out to limb up or bust saplings. Due to a sleeping baby next door I did a dismantle of 2.5 story high sycamore at home with my harness, flipline and my Fiskars axe. It cuts so hard it didn't take long, in fact it took twice the time cleaning of the chips off both roofs! I gave the back end a slight grind to flatten it to make it more suitable for hammering wedges but otherwise its the perfect axe for me.
