Samson Velocity Hot 24-Strand Climbing Rope (11mm)
Velocity is part of the new family of 11mm lightweight climbing lines designed specifically for arborist who want to use mechanical ascenders, prusiks and split tails to get up a tree. Velocity has a 24-strand braided polyester cover with stabilized nylon core, and the rope is coated with Samson's proprietary Sure Grip technology, giving this rope a fully broken-in feel from the first time it is used. Some find the Sure Grip coating a little tacky for their liking, but most prefer the feel. The high visibility of Velocity Hot makes it easy to distinguish in the hectic workplace.Popular hanks are also available with a factory 1" (tight) spliced eye.
