Our Red Dawg Boots - Lace-to-Toe Calks represent an excellent value and we are proud to offer them to you. They have the same hand made uppers as our now famous Red Dawg Boots - Lace-to-Toe Vibrams. These boots feature Red Dawg Boots - logger tan leather, Goodyear welt construction, double leather vamps, shoulder leather insoles, steel shanks, spring heels, "O" calks, 12" height, and the soles are nailed all around for added strength.

Sizes: 7-12 (half sizes in between), "D" and "EE" widths.(full and half sizes except 12-1/2).

Q.	If the boots don't fit when I first receive them, can I send them right back?
A.	As long as they are returned within 30 days and there is no wear or scratches on them (like new), there is no problem. Please call first for a return number.

Q.	Do the sizes run true to regular shoe sizes or are they different?
A.	Yes, the sizes run true to the corresponding shoe die. Compared to some brands that don't run true they can run larger.

Q.	In regards to the previous question about hard or soft toe. Hard toe doesn't refer to "steel toe". It just means that the toe is hardened and not soft, or boxed in, if you will. Are they hard or soft toe?

Q.	I have never owned a pair of calk boots. How well do the calks hold up? Do they tear out / fall out easily? How long can I expect the calks to last, and how many "spares" should a guy need?
A.	They don't tear out. They can loosen with time, but with half a twist now and then with the calk wrench, item 25012, will keep them snug. After much wear on hard surfaces they can wear down. A bag of 50 calks, 25010 or 25018, will replenish a pair of size 10 or smaller.

Q.	hi, i like the look of these boots.the quality over here in New Zealand lacks hardyness.I breakout for a swing yarder and go through boots fast.Have given up on leathers and wear spiked gumboots now. How long will your boots last me?? A year would satisfy.
A.	Unless you are fishing for alligators with your feet, these should last a good long while. Many serious logger has enjoyed a few seasons of use from these boots.

Q.	Are these boots waterproof?
A.	No, the Red Dawg Calk boots aren't waterproof, but if you use Obenauf's Silicone Water Shield that can aid in the water repellancy. If you want to see the full selection of waterproof boots, just type WATERPROOF BOOTS in the search and you'll get a good selection.

These are a good boot for the price.I've had mine for a month now and like them.They are much cheaper than Vibergs and should last a couple of seasons on the coast.BC logger
